Inside a sFLC3 fuzzy logic controllerLet's now take a closer look at a sFLC3 controller. We've seen that any sFLC controller is made of 3 major components, namely, a Variable Set (VS), a set of Fuzzy Sets (FS) and a Rule Set (RS). It must be noted again that variables must be normalised to the [-1;+1] range for convenience, and that our sFLC3 controllers in the current version must conform to either a 3x3 shape or a 5x5 shape, i.e. variables must be defined with a fuzzy set made of 3 fuzzy states, or 5 fuzzy states. The API itself does not have any limitation, but it was chosen to rather format fuzzy logic controllers that way, mainly for simplicity reasons. Versatility comes from variations offered when building FL controllers using one of the predefined Fuzzy Sets and Rule Sets, which are described here: |
